5% growth in e-commerce records in Saudi Arabia during the third quarter
Commercial records in the e-commerce sector in Saudi Arabia achieved a growth of 5% during the third quarter of the year 2025, bringing the number of existing records in the sector to 41,843 records, compared to 39,769 records in the same quarter of the previous year.
According to the business sector bulletin for the third quarter of 2025 issued by Ministry of Commerce, Riyadh topped the list of the top 5 regions in terms of existing records For e-commerce with 17,942 records, followed by the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region with 10,599 records, then the Eastern Province with 6,432 records, then Medina and Al-Qassim with 1,819 and 1,341 records, respectively.
Strengthening the e-commerce business system is one of the goals of the National Transformation Program that supports achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, due to the importance of e-commerce. And its role in promoting The nationaleconomy, especially since the Kingdom is one of the top 10 growing countries in the world in the field of e-commerce.
