Registration is open for the Dubai Sailing Race, 60-foot class

Dubai, October 28 / WAM / The Dubai International Marine Sports Club will organize next Saturday the Dubai Race for Local Dhows, 60-foot class, as part of the 2025 marine sports season calendar, as the first preparatory experience for the historic Al-Gaffal Race.
The club announced the opening of registration through its website, while it currently continues to complete applications for participation and approve bearings in accordance with the technical specifications specified in the race instructions, which were circulated through various platforms and means of communication with participants, while adhering to the highest standards of accuracy and safety to ensure the organization of a strong and safe competition that reflects the status of the event.
The 60-foot category race is the fourth race of the current season, after the 22-foot category race and two rounds of the 43-foot category.
Mohammed Hareb, Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, expressed his aspiration for the race to be one of the strongest competitions this season, in light of the distinguished levels presented by the Nawakhatha in previous rounds.
The race is scheduled to start from The World Islands towards the Dubai Sea, while the coronation ceremony will be held in Dubai Harbour.
