Pyongyang tests a cruise missile on the eve of Trump’s visit to South Korea

launched North Korea Tuesday launched sea-to-land cruise missiles off its western coast, according to what official media reported, in a test that comes on the eve of US President Donald Trump Visit South Korea.
The Korean Central News Agency reported on Wednesday that the missiles were launched vertically from the Yellow Sea and flew for more than two hours, indicating that Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Pak Jong-chun was the one who supervised the missile test, and not leader Kim Jong-un, whom Trump expressed his desire to meet during his Asian tour.
He confirmed Trump wanted to meet the North Korean leader during his Asian tour, which began in Malaysia and concluded in South Korea.
The two leaders last met in 2019 in the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas.
