The Disaster Management Sri Lanka, in its new tally of the number of those affected, stated that (565) houses were completely damaged, while (20,271) houses were partially damaged, indicating that 336 people are still in Missing to date as a result of this disaster, which is the worst natural disaster to hit this South Asian island since the 2004 tsunami.
