Ayyam Lulu brings Sabah back to the stage with the voice of Aline Lahoud

Lebanese artist Aline Lahoud revealed the scenes of her portrayal of the late artist Sabah in the theatrical show Ayyam Lulu, which was presented in honor of her artistic career coinciding with the month of her birth and death last November.

Lahoud appeared in the “Blackbird” cloak, presenting the character singing and acting, in a show that received critical acclaim and wide public interaction, starting from the Casino du Liban theater and extending to social media platforms.

In private statements, Lahoud described the experience as a “dream come true,” stressing her pride in participating in honoring a name as big as Sabah, and noting that the large public turnout encouraged her to hope to present additional performances in the future.

She said that embodying the character of Al-Shahroura was a special human experience, as she was inspired by her life’s love of life, willpower, and the ability to overcome difficulties, considering that these values helped her present the role with honesty and balance.

In another context, Lahoud praised the theatrical performance, a local production, in which Youssef Al-Khal and “Ammar Shalak” participated, describing the work as combining sarcasm and pain, and considering that the actors’ performance was remarkable.

She also revealed that she had put her voice back on the song “The Half”, the theme song for the Broken Bird series, from the words of the late poet Maha Bayrakdar, explaining that the step came at the invitation of her son Youssef Al-Khal and on her recommendation before her death, which she described as a moment of great pride and happiness.
