Arada awards construction contracts worth 2.04 billion dirhams to build 14 residential complexes in Sharjah

Sharjah, 12 March / WAM / The real estate development company, Arada, has awarded two major contracts for the construction of a new batch of 2,210 homes in the Aljada community in Sharjah, at a value of 2.04 billion dirhams, to include the main construction work in 14 residential complexes.

China Teesju Civil Engineering Company, a subsidiary of Chinese construction giant China Railway Group Co., Ltd., will construct the “Five Row” buildings on East Boulevard and the “Five Row” buildings on West Boulevard.

As for the contract for the construction of “The Gate 3-6” complexes, which are located at the southern entrances to the community, it was awarded to the Kuwaiti company Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Kharafi & Sons, which is currently working on developing a group of other Arada projects in Aljada, Masar and Nasma Residences.

The two contracts will be implemented within a period of 26 months, with all buildings expected to be delivered during the second quarter of 2028, prior to the completion of one of the community’s main landmarks – Madar Mall. The two contracts include the delivery of residential complexes with modern specifications equipped with standard technologies for smart homes.

Ahmed Al Khashibi, CEO of Arada Group, said: “These two major contracts reflect our growing confidence in the market and our keenness to accelerate the pace of completion of our projects in the country. There is no doubt that this step constitutes an important milestone in the development process of the Aljada community and at the same time demonstrates the great interest of buyers and investors in this modern, integrated destination.”

He added, “These new residential complexes will be delivered in conjunction with the development of new major landmarks in Aljada, such as Madar Mall and the Arada Central Business District, which reflects our commitment to creating a modern urban destination that contributes to reshaping the urban landscape in the emirate.”

The complexes are characterized by modern architectural features, rich in natural lighting, and their proximity to the large sports complex on Aljada, which is currently being built and expected to be delivered by the end of 2026. The sports complex extends over an area of ​​400,000 square feet and includes a full-size football field, five-a-side football fields, padel, basketball, volleyball, squash and badminton courts, in addition to running and cycling tracks and children’s play areas.

“The Gate 3-4” residential complex, which consists of two buildings, is strategically located on the main entrance to East Boulevard, opposite SABIS International School – Aljada, while “The Gate 5-6” complex, which also consists of two buildings, is located at the entrance to West Boulevard, close to the northwest corner of the Aljada community, opposite Raffles World Academy – Aljada, which is currently under construction and is expected to receive its first batch of students during the academic year. 2026-2027.

It is noteworthy that the Aljada community, whose total cost is estimated at 35 billion dirhams, extends over an area of ​​​​more than 24 million square feet and includes more than 25,000 homes in addition to a variety of shops, sports facilities, fitness and hospitality facilities, offices and educational institutions, and its population has currently reached more than 20,000 people.
