An earthquake measuring 4.2 Richter strikes the eastern Dominican Republic

Today, Tuesday, an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale struck the city of Punta Cana, east of the Dominican Republic. The US Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 3.5 kilometers.
