المملكة: Riyadh Municipality launches the new version of the “Basta” event next Saturday
This will take place on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street (Tahlia Street) every Saturday starting from December 7 for a period of 10 weeks, to be a community platform that combines innovation, entertainment, and culture, and allows participants to display their products and services to the public.
Previous editions of the event recorded notable successes, as they attracted all segments of society, including residents, visitors and people of Riyadh, and contributed last year to enhancing local economic activity with sales exceeding two million riyals, while its media coverage achieved wide spread across various media outlets.

In terms of improvements for this year, the secretariat seeks to present a more distinguished version by increasing the exhibition areas by thirty percent, providing two hundred additional parking spaces to facilitate visitors’ access, in addition to adopting smart lighting systems and modern technologies to improve the aesthetic environment, and allocating security teams working to ensure an excellent experience. Safe and fun for everyone.

It is noteworthy that the “Basta” event enhances the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by supporting the creative economy and achieving sustainable practices that include empowering small and medium enterprise owners, which contributes to creating new job opportunities and enhancing their contribution to the national economy. In addition, this event comes as an extension of the strategy of the Riyadh Municipality in… Improving the experience of beneficiaries, strengthening community ties through recreational and cultural activities suitable for all family members.
