Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador

Today, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Her Excellency Gabriela Sommerfeld, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of the Republic of Ecuador.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and paths of joint cooperation in several sectors, including trade, tourism, agriculture, renewable energy and mining, were discussed.

The two sides also touched on the two countries’ efforts to strengthen their economic relationship and reach a comprehensive partnership that supports their efforts to achieve sustainable economic growth.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of Her Excellency Gabriella Sommerfeld, expressing his hope that this visit will contribute to strengthening the relations of cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries in a way that will bring prosperity to their peoples.

His Highness and His Excellency Gabriela Sommerfeld also discussed all developments in the region and on the regional and international arenas.
