America calls on its citizens to leave Syria

The United States on Friday called on its citizens to leave Syria, where armed factions took control of a number of large cities in a lightning attack.
The US authorities said in a message posted on social media, “The (US State) Department urges American citizens to leave Syria immediately as long as commercial travel options remain available.”
