The Yemen Issue

In April 2017, the Crown Prince confirmed during his reception with senior Yemeni tribal sheikhs that the Kingdom views Yemen as a strategic depth for the Arab nation, and that the biggest mistake committed was the aggression that tried to harm the depth of the Arabs. Peace and Development Efforts

Release 10 prisoners

On March 11, 2025, in Jeddah, under the direction of the Crown Prince, the Kingdom hosted talks between the United States of America and Ukraine, and Ukraine agreed during the meeting to a 30-day ceasefire if Russia adhered.

Syria

In May 2025, during an official visit by US President Donald Trump to the Kingdom, he issued US President Donald Trump announced his decision to lift sanctions on Syria, after the request of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Crown Prince said that the Kingdom succeeded in lifting sanctions on Syria to ensure the unity of its lands and rebuild its economy.
The US President said during his speech at the Saudi-American Investment Forum, in Riyadh, that he hopes that the Syrian government will succeed in restoring security to its country, and that lifting the sanctions will be a new opportunity for it.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the decision. The United States of America abolished the sanctions imposed on the Syrian Arab Republic, in accordance with the Caesar Act, stressing that this step would support stability, prosperity and development in Syria in a way that achieves the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people. The Kingdom held a meeting in Jeddah Governorate in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, between the Minister of Defense of the Syrian Arab Republic, Major General M. Murhaf Abu Qasra, the Minister of National Defense of the Lebanese Republic, Major General Michel Mansi, and the two security delegations accompanying them, and an agreement was signed during which the two sides stressed the strategic importance of demarcating the borders between the two countries, forming legal and specialized committees between them in a number of fields, and activating coordination mechanisms between the two sides to deal with security and military challenges, especially with what may arise on the border between them.
It was also agreed to hold a follow-up meeting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the following period.
At the conclusion of the meeting, he expressed The Ministers of Defense of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Lebanese Republic expressed their thanks to the leadership of the Kingdom – may God support it – and to His Royal Highness the Minister of Defense for sponsoring the Kingdom and hosting the meeting, and expressed their satisfaction with what was reached.
Sudan War
During the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – His Highness asked US President Donald Trump to intervene forcefully to stop the war in Sudan.
