Actress Rita Hayek posted a photo on her Instagram account of her late grandmother.

Hayek pointed out that her grandmother is Syrian from the city of Baniyas.

She said: “Hedi Tita Marie, my mother from Baniyas, Syria, is definitely celebrating with us wherever she is. The Syrian people deserve to live in freedom, and the Lebanese and Syrian detainees will be liberated. Hopefully, the next stage will include national solidarity, awareness, and days full of freedom.”
