Abu Dhabi Police organizes the first leadership forum for the year 2026
ABU DHABI, 26 March / WAM / His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, opened the first Leadership Forum for the year 2026, organized by the Decision-Making Support and Institutional Development Sector, in the presence of directors of police sectors, senior officers and a number of members of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, with the aim of highlighting the achievements of Abu Dhabi Police, and sharing the pioneering experiences that strengthened its position as an advanced model in policing and security work, by reviewing the process of excellence and innovation, Integrating systems and assets, and improving institutional performance.
The holding of this leadership forum comes within the framework of the General Leadership’s keenness to consolidate the concepts of leadership and institutional excellence, and to review the qualitative achievements achieved in accordance with international best practices, in line with the vision of the Abu Dhabi government and strategies for sustainable institutional development.
His Excellency appreciated the support of the wise leadership for the development process in the UAE, so that the nation will always remain at the forefront, stressing the interest of Abu Dhabi Police in the future vision to achieve the basic goals and objectives to enhance security, safety and community confidence in the most effective means.
Major General Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, praised the importance of holding these forums, stressing that they constitute an important platform for exchanging visions and experiences, recognizing achievements, and enhancing the spirit of positive competitiveness among its members and departments, which contributes to the advancement and development of security work, stressing the importance of sensing the national responsibility placed on the force, especially at the current stage, and displaying the patriotic spirit, and making community service a top priority.
During the forum, the achievements of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command for the year 2025 and its future directions were presented, and a number of distinguished categories in Abu Dhabi Police were honored, such as distinguished projects, technical excellence, excellence in security analysis and studies, the best security response officer, the best non-commissioned officer/security response individual, the best operations officer, the best investigation officer (criminal security), those distinguished in proactive security work (criminal), the best non-commissioned officer/person in insurance and protection, and the best security response patrol.
