Engineer Hani Abu Rida, the new president of the Egyptian Football Association and a member of the Supreme Football Council “FIFA” and the Confederation of African Football “CAF”, expressed his happiness with the confidence of the General Assembly of the Egyptian Football Association, to choose his list to win by acclamation, to manage the Jabaliya Council. During the next four years.
Commenting on his list’s victory, Abu Raida said: “I extend my thanks to all members of the association.” General Assembly of the generation, for their support, trust, and great love with which they have surrounded me today and throughout my history with Egyptian football, and I promise them all to work with the new board of directors to develop Egyptian football and return it to leadership.
He added: " The circumstances are difficult and the task is heavy, and we have great work and effort to develop Egyptian football, and we will not spare any effort in order to please the fans who are thirsty to restore Egypt’s position at the forefront of African and international football.”
Abouraida stressed. For his thanks and gratitude to all state agencies concerned with sports and their officials, and to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, for the support and determination he saw in providing an atmosphere that encourages success during the period. And he added: “We have the support and positive energy that we seek to qualify us to restore Egypt’s natural position in the world of football, but we must all come together to achieve this.”
He concluded: “The door of the Football Association is open to everyone for the benefit of Egyptian football, and no member of the Egyptian football system or the Council will be excluded.” The current one will strive to work to address the negatives that Egyptian football has suffered recently with the help of everyone.”
