Al Ain refuses to lose and draws with Kalba 3-3 in the Professional League

Al Ain returned from Kalba Stadium with a hard-fought 3-3 draw, today, Wednesday, in the postponed match between them from the third round of the ADNOC Professional League.

Al Ain remained sixth with 15 points, nine points behind Sharjah, the “leader”, while Kalba raised its score to 13 points in eighth place.

Al Ain paid dearly for the mistake of its defender Khaled Al Hashemi, when he failed to clear a long ball and the ball reached Mehdi Qaidi, who passed Bandar Al Ahbabi and placed the ball to the right of goalkeeper Khaled Issa, scoring the first goal “24”.
Kalba increased its lead by adding the second goal through Shahriar Moganloo (54).

The opportunity came on a silver platter for Al Ain in the 64th minute, to improve the score with the expulsion of the Kalba player, Rayhan Alivoda, due to a violent tackle with the Al Ain player Kaku, but the host team “stung” the leader with the third goal, created by Mehdi Qaidi for his teammate Saman Quddus, who shot a powerful ball. From inside the box, it landed in the net “76”.

Three minutes later, Laba Kodjo managed to reduce the difference with a header following a cross from Bandar Al-Ahbabi.

Al Ain continued its efforts to add another goal, and substitute Matthews Sanabria was able to score the second goal (81) after returning to the “VAR” technique.

Matthews Sanabria continued his brilliance, scoring the equalizer for Al Ain in stoppage time with a shot after a rebound from the defense “90+5”, so the match ended in a 3-3 draw.
