Mikati: The Israeli raid on "Tents" After the army deployed "Described treachery"

Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati confirmed today, Thursday, that the Israeli raid that targeted the town of Khiam and the deployment of the Lebanese army is “described treachery.” It violates all the pledges made by the sponsors of the ceasefire agreement.

 

Mikati said – in a statement reported by the National News Agency in Lebanon -: “Not twenty-four hours have passed since the army started… Deployment in the Khiam and Marjayoun areas in implementation of the ceasefire decision until the Israeli army re-targeted the town of Khiam with a raid that led to the fall of martyrs. And wounded.”

 

He added, “This described treachery contradicts all the pledges made by the parties that sponsored the ceasefire agreement, namely the United States of America and France, and they are required to present a clear position on what happened.” And curb the Israeli aggression.”

 

He pointed out that “these persistent violations are committed by the monitoring committee charged with supervising the implementation of the moratorium.” Opening fire, and they are required to address what happened immediately and firmly and prevent its recurrence.”
