Elon Musk becomes the first person whose fortune exceeds $400 billion

American billionaire Elon Musk has become the first person to reach a fortune estimated at more than $400 billion, according to Forbes and Bloomberg.
Musk’s wealth consists mainly of shares in the electric car manufacturer Tesla and the aerospace company SpaceX.

American Forbes magazine estimated Musk’s wealth at $431.2 billion on Thursday, while financial services company Bloomberg said it amounted to approximately $447 billion.
The companies owned by Musk also include the X electronic platform, the artificial intelligence development company XAI, and Neuralink, which works to develop computer interfaces that support the human mind.
The second place in the ranking was occupied by Amazon founder, American billionaire Jeff Bezos, with a fortune estimated at more than $240 billion.
