“A Decent Life” reaches Halayeb and Shalatin

The Egyptian state has made great efforts in all governorates to provide services to citizens, and work to meet the needs of the people in those areas, to put them on the right path, in implementation of the political leadership’s mandates to care for citizens, improve the quality of daily life, and compensate them for the deprivation they have missed.
The Information and Decision Support Center of the Council of Ministers published a number of videos on its pages on social networking sites, about a visit it made to the cities of Halayeb and Shalatin in the Red Sea Governorate, to highlight The state’s development efforts there in various fields.The “videos” included a meeting with Mohamed Al-Banna, the head of the city of Shalatin, who explained the overall state projects to improve various conditions in the city, and their impact on improving services and raising the quality of life for the people. Pointing to the completion of the implementation and delivery of about 1,500 housing units to the people as an alternative to slums, other than economic housing and Bedouin homes, in addition to the establishment of the fishing port in Shalateen. To provide about 5,000 job opportunities for fishermen…and the state did not neglect to extend services to the mountain villages, as it implemented 86 Bedouin housing units there.
In the field of education, the center held a meeting with Mamdouh Saeed, Director of the Shalatin Educational Administration. During which he pointed to the increasing establishment of schools in the basic and secondary education stages, in cooperation with the “Decent Life” presidential initiative, after the matter was limited to the system “One class”, pointing to the expansion of technical education schools, in addition to the opening of the first distinguished official “languages” school. In Shalatin two years ago, especially since “Hurghada”, which is located 600 km from Shalatin, was the only city that included this type of school.. The “Information Center” By holding a number of meetings inside the water desalination plant in Shalateen.
In the health sector, the center held a meeting with Dr. Mohamed Al-Mesiri, Director of Shalateen Central Hospital, who explained the hospital’s development processes and its role in adding new health services and increasing intensive care beds and nurseries. Children, dialysis machines, radiology and medical analysis laboratories, with reference to the hospital’s role in various presidential health initiatives, such as the “100 Million Health” initiative, and “Health Women ”, and others… In agriculture, he referred to the Wadi Hodoin Farm, one of the state’s projects to achieve development in Shalateen, and it is one of the desert valleys that is about 32 km away from the city of Shalateen, and includes 45 agricultural greenhouses and more than 30 acres of open crops for crops, The center held a meeting with Abdeen Musa, the head of the city of Halayeb, who indicated that 500 housing units would be delivered to the people as an alternative. On slums, other than the construction of economic housing buildings and Bedouin homes, pointing to the opening of the first branches of the Bank of Egypt, the National Bank of Egypt, and the Postal Authority in the city of Halayeb in 2022, to save the people of the city the hardship of traveling a distance of 170 km to the two Shalatin, to receive various banking services, which saved A major service, especially for pensioners, and the establishment of a water desalination plant in the village of “Aburmad” In Halayeb, in 2019.
