The Authority has provided individual importers with the service of self-importing personal vehicles via land and sea, so that the individual importer can submit the necessary documents and complete the vehicle import procedures directly through the Authority’s website.
Importing personal vehicles
The Authority explained that to submit a request to import personal vehicles for individuals, the importer must first register on the Authority’s website (zatca.gov.sa), then choose the vehicle import service and create a new application, by filling out the vehicle information and customs declaration, uploading the required documents, and then submitting demand.
She noted that providing this service is optional and not mandatory.
In this regard, the Authority provides a detailed user guide for the service, via its website, which includes an explanation of the service, the steps for submitting requests to import personal vehicles for individuals, and detailed information that will help make optimal use of the service.
