The World Bank lowers its global growth forecast in 2026 due to the Iran war

Reduce The World Bank Thursday announced its expectations for the growth of The global economy reached its lowest level since the outbreak of the Covid epidemic, warning of the worsening economic repercussions of the war in Middle East on the countries of the world.
The bank said in a statement accompanying the publication of its report on global economic forecasts that global growth is expected to slow to 2.5% in 2026, compared to 2.9% in 2025.
Expectations were lowered for two-thirds of the economies compared to the expectations issued in January this year.
