The Association for the Protection of the Arabic Language celebrates the heritage of the language and identity

Dubai, December 19 / WAM / The Society for the Protection of the Arabic Language celebrated the International Arabic Language Day and the 25th anniversary of its founding at the Culture and Science Symposium in Dubai.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of an elite group of intellectuals and lovers of the Arabic language, and included various segments celebrating the importance of the Arabic language and its pivotal role in preserving the nation’s cultural identity.

In his opening speech, Bilal Rabie Al-Badour, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, highlighted the necessity of making preserving the Arabic language a primary goal for Arab societies, calling for more efforts to consolidate the language’s status in all fields.

The ceremony included honoring the association’s individual volunteers who made distinguished efforts to achieve the association’s goals and the institutions supporting its cultural journey, including the Culture and Science Symposium, the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, and the Sharjah Department of Culture, in appreciation of their role in spreading Arab culture and enhancing the language in society.
