The Israeli army announces the discovery of military equipment in three tunnels in the northern Gaza Strip
The Israeli army announced today, Friday, the destruction of three tunnels belonging to the Hamas movement in the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip.
The army stated – in a statement broadcast by the newspaper " Yedioth Ahronoth " The Israeli newspaper in its English version said that the three tunnels extend for a distance of 7.5 kilometers and reach a depth of tens of meters, indicating that Israeli army equipment was found that was seized on October 7, 2023 AD, and maps of the Israeli settlements located near the Gaza Strip.  ; The statement added that weapons and resting places belonging to the Hamas movement were also found inside the tunnels.
The statement also explained that the tunnels were destroyed with the help of the forces of the “Yelhom” unit. Engineering.
