المملكة: With “Majd Mbari”… the launch of the first programs of the Diriyah season 24/25
Majd Mbari came as the first program of the season this year. Because the Second Saudi State represents historical importance as it is an extension of the founding and construction phase of the First Saudi State, and a link to the phase of development and prosperity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Establishment of the second Saudi state
The exhibition aims to introduce visitors to Imam Turki bin Abdullah, who is considered one of the most prominent Saudi leaders and an influential personality.
It also sheds light on the historical, political and social events and stories that Imam Turki lived through during his journey from his departure from Diriyah until his entry into Riyadh.
Diriyah represents an important part of the life of Imam Turki bin Abdullah. The grandson of the founder of the first Saudi state, as he was born there in 1183 AH/1769 AD. He lived during the first Saudi state at the height of its glory and glory, and grew up there when it was an important economic center and a symbol of prosperity and abundance.
Visual and sound effects
He learned wisdom and was established in leadership at the hands of the imams of the Saudi state in the Al-Turaif neighborhood and its palaces. He studied in the scribes of the Diriyah mosques, and his personality was distinguished by wisdom, wisdom, and justice.

The exhibition, which is open to visitors during the morning and evening periods, presents historical stories in a chronological sequence that relies on a set of visual and audio effects, and a number of distinctive aesthetic details.
The exhibition’s sections include: Introduction to the program, the birth and upbringing of Imam Turki, I am the gardener of my land, In Turki’s Cave, The Mangy Sword, Turki the Hero, The Epic of Glory, and the Legacy of Imam Turki bin Abdullah.
Re-establishing the Saudi state
The mangy sword, which was associated with Imam Turki bin Abdullah in re-establishing the Saudi state, is considered one of the most famous swords in the history of the Arabian Peninsula and Saudi history.
He was at the right hand of the Imam when he entered Riyadh in 1240 AH/1824 AD, and he remained a witness to Imam Turki’s courage, determination, and chivalry, which is still a subject of mention and pride to this day.


The Majd Mbari exhibition is held at Al-Bujairi overlook, which welcomes visitors with a range of Najdi heritage and hospitality, in a historical and cultural environment that gives visitors the opportunity to explore diverse international tastes in a winter atmosphere surrounded by the nature of Diriyah and its authentic heritage.
