A factory explosion in northwestern Türkiye kills 12 people
At least 12 people were killed and three others were injured on Tuesday, in an explosion that occurred at a factory in northwestern Türkiye, according to the region’s governor.
“Twelve of our citizens were killed in the explosion that occurred in a factory in the Karaesi region,” Ismail Ustaoğlu, governor of Balıkesir (Baliğısar) state, told the NTV Live news station.

Helicopter crash in southern Türkiye
It is noteworthy that another accident occurred in the Mugla province, in southern Turkey, the day before yesterday, Sunday, where a rescue helicopter flew over a hospital in the region, and then crashed, killing the four people on board.
The dead were two pilots, a doctor, and another person, and the cause of the accident is not yet clear.
