The start of the preliminary qualifiers for"Ras Al Khaimah Quran Award" At its 23rd session

Ras Al Khaimah, December 24 / WAM / The preliminary qualifiers for the “Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Award”, in its 23rd session, began yesterday, which is held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

The preliminary qualifiers, which will be held at the headquarters of the Ras Al Khaimah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, will continue until January 2nd.

The award witnessed a large turnout from participants in various competitions, including the Holy Quran Competition, the Women’s Competition, the Psalms of the Family of David Competition, the Noble Prophet’s Hadiths Competition, and other competitions.

The award included a new competition, “The Nation’s Talents,” which opened its doors to male and female students from various public and private schools in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to participate in it.

His Excellency Ahmed Mohammed Al Shehhi, Director General of the Foundation, confirmed that the preliminary rounds received large participation from citizens and residents of the UAE, indicating that the award represents a creative field in which contestants compete with creative efforts, within a positive incubator environment aimed at developing their talents and honoring and encouraging memorizers of the Holy Qur’an. It seeks continuous development through its various competitions and the quality of its services to participants and their families.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Subayan Al-Taniji, Secretary General of the Award and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, said that the new session had the participation of 2,520 male and female contestants, with a total of 1,425 males and 1,095 females, from 66 nationalities from various countries of the world who live in harmony and harmony in the UAE, an oasis of coexistence. And tolerance.

He expressed his aspiration to see the creativity of school students participating in the Nation’s Talent Competition and all Qur’anic, Prophetic and cultural competitions, pointing out that the preliminary qualifiers, which last approximately two weeks in two morning and evening periods, are conducted by a distinguished group of male and female judging committees, with distinguished experience, To evaluate the contestants.
