Roads closed… Snow storms paralyze parts of Croatia and Bosnia

Winter snowstorms have paralyzed traffic in Croatia, closing a major highway leading to the coast, the Croatian Automobile Association said Tuesday.
Ten other main roads in the country were also closed, according to what the association reported, and some roads were closed to large trucks, double-decker buses, and mobile homes (caravans).
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, seven main roads in the mountains were closed due to heavy snowfall, according to the Bosnian Automobile Association.

Power outage
Snowfall and strong winds damaged power lines in the country, leading to problems with electricity supply since Monday.
Tens of thousands of homes were without electricity, and repairs were hampered by continuing snowfall, strong winds and fallen trees, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s electricity company Elektroprivrida.
