Tasnim news agency quoted the official as saying: "If the enemy tries to launch a ground operation on Iranian islands or any other place on our territory, or if he seeks to inflict losses on Iran through naval maneuvers in the Gulf and the Sea of ​​Oman, we will suddenly open other fronts.".
He added that "The Bab al-Mandab Strait is one of the most important strategic straits in the world, and Iran has the will and ability to pose a real and effective threat against it.".
