The Council of Ministers welcomes the United Nations’ request for an opinion from the International Court of Justice regarding Israel’s obligations to facilitate the arrival of aid to the Palestinians

The Council discussed the latest developments in the existing cooperation between the Kingdom and the countries and organizations of the world, and what has been achieved in this regard. The Council welcomed this. In this context, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution requesting the opinion of the International Court of Justice regarding Israel’s obligations to facilitate aid to the Palestinians from the United Nations and international countries and bodies, appreciating the positive position of the countries that voted for the resolution presented by Norway in partnership with the Kingdom.

He stated that the Council praised the contents of the conferences and economic, cultural and media events held during the past days in Riyadh, which has become an international destination for science, knowledge, investment and innovation in various fields, based on the Kingdom’s comprehensive renaissance at all levels.
