The Global Hotel Alliance said that the UAE ranked first as the largest visiting destination for tourists from the United Kingdom during the year 2024, for members of the “GHA Discovery” program affiliated with the alliance, indicating that the UAE is at the top of the interests of visitors from that market during the next year 2025. .

The alliance’s “Loyalty” program includes more than 800 hotels in its portfolio, representing 40 brands in 100 countries. The alliance program also serves 28 million members, and achieved revenues of $2.3 billion in 2023, recording 10 million hotel nights.

The alliance stated that travelers from the United Kingdom continue to be interested in high standards of luxury travel, with a focus on sustainability, quality, and exceptional travel experiences, pointing out that it is looking forward to another strong year of demand by travelers from the United Kingdom in 2025.

According to a survey conducted by the alliance on travel trends for the new year 2025, the renewed interest in Dubai, New York and the Caribbean region during the coming year is consistent with last year’s choices of member tourists from Spain and Italy.

The survey stated that for members residing in the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Japan were the top holiday destinations during 2025, while holidays within the region in the Middle East are expected to remain popular.
