Emirates Airlines increases its “premium tourism” stations to 31 destinations

The latest data issued by Emirates Airlines showed that the carrier is now operating premium economy class to 25 destinations within its global network, by the end of this December, including four Arab stations.
According to data obtained by Emirates Today, the American city of Boston became the carrier’s latest premium economy class station on December 10, while the carrier plans to launch this class to six new stations at the beginning of the new year during the months of January and February.
The data revealed that the carrier plans to operate “premium economy class” to: Vienna, Edinburgh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Seattle, Newark/Athens, and Bogota/Miami, bringing the total number of the carrier’s stations served in this class to 31 destinations by February 2025.
The seats of this wide class, made of cream-colored leather, are 19.5 inches wide and equipped with a headrest that is adjustable in six directions, to give customers more comfort with an extension area of up to 38 inches. The seat can also be tilted back by eight inches, in addition to other features and functions. , such as charging points, a wooden dining table, and a side table. The “Premium Economy Class” cabin also features the latest advanced in-flight entertainment system, with a 13.3-inch HD TV screen.
Providing the “Emirates Airlines Premium Economy” class is an essential element of the modernization program, which costs several billion dollars, and includes modernizing the interior cabins of the “Airbus A380” and “Boeing 777” fleet.
Emirates Airlines recently announced the addition of 43 more Airbus A380 aircraft and 28 Boeing 777 aircraft to its program to modernize its aircraft fleet, bringing the total number of aircraft subject to the program to 191 aircraft.
During the period between April 1 and September 30, eight aircraft, three (Airbus A380) and five (Boeing 777), were fully modernized as part of its aircraft modernization program, which costs four billion dollars.
This allowed Emirates Airlines to provide its latest cabin products, including its latest Boeing 777 aircraft, which consists of four classes, which is distinguished by a (1-2-1) distribution of seats that can be converted into beds, in addition to the premium economy class. .
Emirates Airlines is working to expand the network of destinations it serves with its modernized aircraft equipped with the latest products in business class and premium economy class, as the carrier aims to give travelers more opportunities to experience its latest new generation products, in addition to raising the level of distinguished travel.
Emirates Airlines intends to launch a third direct flight between Dubai and Melbourne, starting March 30, 2025. The third service will be operated by the modernized “Emirates Boeing 777-300ER” aircraft, divided into four classes and equipped with the carrier’s award-winning products in the premium economy class, and the latest generation of first-class seats.
