Smile concludes the first dental forum in the presence of an elite group of doctors

The first dental forum of the Smile Association, which was organized by the association, concluded today in the presence of more than 100 students, doctors, dental specialists and consultants, and in the presence of members of the association’s board of directors and its leaders. The forum, which lasted for ten hours, included in its schedule ten specialized lecturers who presented lectures and led practical and interactive workshops that were on As follows: Management of teeth treated with endodontic medicine and presented by Dr. Yasser Mahfouz Othman, Digital Access Cavities: Review and Update and presented by Dr. Fouad Abdel-Jabbar, Less is More: Redefining Cosmetic Dentistry and presented by Dr. Anmar Adnan Kansara, A review on obstructive sleep apnea and the role of the dental profession by Dr. Basem Tariq Jamal, Parents’ knowledge of dental injuries: A cross-sectional study by Dr. Imad Abdel-Rahman Al-Badao, Suturing like Periodontist by Dr. Majid Al-Thubaiti, Dr. Abdullah Bamshamous and Dr. Sultan Al-Ghaithi, splinting techniques for affected teeth presented by Dr. Ayman bin Muhammad Noah and Dr. Nizar vol.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Smile Association, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh Fatni, stated that this forum, in its first edition, witnessed great interaction between lecturers and participants in the lectures and workshops, achieving its goals of providing comprehensive training that enhances the competencies of dental specialists, improving understanding of contemporary dentistry, and enhancing professional confidence. Those who participated – dental students, trainees, specialists and consultants in this field – found what they were looking for in the forum and enjoyed an intensive training session. It made a big difference – according to what they mentioned – in their academic and professional careers.

At the conclusion of the training forum, the participants obtained a score of 75% or above in the evaluation, and they also became familiar with the five new techniques in modern dentistry.
