The Kingdom and Qatar review investment partnerships in several sectors

The Saudi-Qatari round table reviewed investment partnerships in the two brotherly countries and ways to benefit from investment opportunities.
The sectors included banking, industry, mining, construction, tourism, aviation and health services.

Saudi-Qatari relations

The meeting also included presentations for “Invest in Saudi Arabia” and “Invest in Qatar” with the aim of introducing investors and companies from the two countries to the business environment and investment opportunities in both countries.

Saudi-Qatari round table

The table was held today under the chairmanship of the Assistant Minister of Investment and Acting CEO of the Saudi Investment Marketing Authority, Ibrahim bin Youssef Al-Mubarak, and the agent in the State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Maliki, and in the presence and participation of company officials, executives and business leaders.

Saudi-Qatari infrastructure

The work of the round table is an extension of the outputs and work of the Saudi-Qatari Investment, Energy and Infrastructure Committee emanating from the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council.
This is co-chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

Saudi-Qatari cooperation

Last October, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, received at the Emiri Diwan in Doha the Minister of Information, Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari.
During the reception, cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed, especially developing joint media cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar.
At that time, the acting head of the Saudi Press Agency, Ali bin Abdullah Al-Zaid, and the Director-General of the Qatar News Agency, Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Rumaihi, signed the executive framework agreement for cooperation and news exchange between the SPA and QNA news agencies.
Also some time ago, the Minister of Justice reviewed with his Qatari counterpart the developments taking place in the judicial sector in the Kingdom with the support of the wise leadership, especially at the level of specialized legislation and the digital transformation of judicial services.
