The Visual Arts Authority announced the launch of the third edition of the Kingdom Photography Award, in a new step to enhance photographic creativity and encourage local and international photographers to explore the beauty of nature and stunning scenery in the Kingdom, and document them with a camera lens.
It reflects what the award represents as an exclusive forum for contemporary photographers and artists that enables them to exchange viewpoints and different stories about the Kingdom.
CEO of the Visual Arts Authority, Dina Amin, stressed the importance of encouraging local photographers and artists to participate in the award as an opportunity to develop their artistic and creative skills in the field of photography.

The award provides exhibition platforms for local artists to display their work to the public, enhancing their interaction with the local and international art scene.
Amin said that the award seeks to instill the creative spirit and highlight the cultural identity in the local artistic community, by organizing accompanying cultural programs.
