"Over" Show creations "Deira School" Craftsman in the Arab travel market

Dubai, April 28 / WAM / Al -Ula, the luxury Saudi destination that embraces treasures of heritage and culture, reviews a prominent part of its authentic creative and craftsmanship by allocating a distinctive corner for the Deira School, the first specialized center for art and design in Al -Ula, as part of its wing participating in the activities of the Arab Travel Market Exhibition 2025 currently held at the Dubai World Trade Center and continues until the first of next May.
The corner designated for the Deira School includes a veiled group of handcrafted craftsmen, including sculpted decorations on stone pieces, ceramic works, sadui products woven in the traditional way, embroidered bags and other designs that celebrate the skill of local craftsmen and embody the live heritage of Alla in a creative way.
The participation of this year is of special importance, as the year 2025 “Handicrafts” was announced in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within a national initiative that celebrates the importance of preserving traditional crafts and enhancing its presence as a basic pillar of the Kingdom’s cultural identity components.
In this context, Al -Deira School appears as a leading platform for the preservation of craft heritage and the promotion of innovation and creativity based on a cultural vision that balances originality and renewal, and the school is located in the heart of the new neighborhood of the arts in Al -Ula, where it plays a pivotal role in reviving traditional crafts and enhancing contemporary design through creative initiatives led by the local community.
Each piece is displayed in the Al -Ula Pavilion at the Arab Travel Market Exhibition bears a unique story, as many of them were made in the hands of craftsmanship women teaching their training through the vocational training program for the Deira School.
This participation is one of the aspects of Al -Ula’s commitment to reviving traditional arts, handicrafts and ancient culture, as well as empowering the local community by developing skills and providing sustainable economic opportunities.
The Al -Ula Pavilion at the Arab Travel Market Exhibition also provides the opportunity to explore the stories behind each art piece offered and get acquainted with how these works contribute to drawing the features of Al -Ula’s vision of authentic tourism through overwhelming cultural experiences that redefine the relationship between the visitor and the place.
Among the other experiences dedicated to the interaction of visitors to the wing, the unique experience of “echoes” allow visitors the opportunity to write their names in the ancient Daddan letters that were used in the time of the kingdoms of Lahyan and Dalan in Al -Ula thousands of years ago, and this interactive experience represents a symbolic and profound means of communicating with the ancient heritage of Al -Ula and returning to the home with a symbolic piece of its ancient cultural heritage.
To give a vibrant human touch to the experience of visitors and enrich them with valuable information and authentic visions, two local Al -Ula narrators also participate in the pavilion to directly interact with visitors and provide inspiring stories and unique visions from the heart of the high as it sees and lives in its people.
In addition, the wing provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the great efforts made by Al -Ula in the field of environmental sustainability, including important initiatives to restore the endangered Arab tiger to its natural residue in the unique Al -Ula environment.
