Bahrain is preparing to launch the “International Forum and Exhibition for Businesswomen” in January 2025

The Bahraini Businesswomen’s Association confirmed the continuation of its efforts and the commencement of all preparations in preparation for the launch of the “International Forum and Exhibition for Businesswomen”, which the association is organizing during the period from 12 to 15 January 2025 AD, under the generous patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women. – May God protect her – at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, with wide Gulf, Arab and international participation.
Mrs. Ahlam Janahi, President of the Association, said in a press statement on this occasion, “About 50 speakers from various countries of the world have confirmed their participation in the forum so far, including prominent international figures, current and former ministers, and senior officials at the level of UN and international institutions, and confirmations continue from other important figures to participate.” In the forum sessions and its dialogues.
Janahi stressed that the forum and exhibition will focus on the achievements of businesswomen in the world of corporate management, in addition to accrediting Bahrain as a friendly center for business, financial transactions and international trade, and creating opportunities for businesswomen to increase the level of trade between them by sharing and exchanging experiences and goods directly, and creating more specialized businesses that It will connect businesswomen in Bahrain with the international business community.
The President of the Businesswomen’s Association added, “The forum is being held on the occasion of the association’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of the silver jubilee of its founding, and it is the first Gulf association for businesswomen. We extend our sincere congratulations and blessings to our wise leadership on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of His Majesty assuming the reins of power, as well as on the occasion of the new year 2025.” We appreciate with great pride the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him, which brought women In 25 years, the Bahraini Kingdom has risen to a position never before achieved throughout history. Janahi continued, saying, “This is in addition to a speech at the beginning of the program about (the Bahraini model and the global progress of women) delivered by Dr. Hashem Hussein, Head of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This speech addresses an in-depth vision of the pioneering Bahraini model in Supporting women and enhancing their role at the local and global levels. It also highlights the policies and initiatives that contributed to achieving the success of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a reference in empowering women, while reviewing inspiring achievements. Achieved by Bahraini women in various fields.
It also draws lessons and experiences that the international community can benefit from to promote women’s empowerment on a broader scale.
Janahi praised the role played by the conference organizing committee and its great, tangible efforts in this regard to promote this global event and attract prominent international figures to participate in the event and enrich discussions. The forum and exhibition focus on the achievements of Bahraini businesswomen in the world of corporate management, in addition to striving to make the Kingdom of Bahrain more important. As a friendly center for business, financial transactions and international trade, and creating opportunities for businesswomen to increase the level of trade between them by sharing and exchanging experiences and goods directly, and creating more specialized businesses that will link Businesswomen in Bahrain with the international business community.
The exhibition will also include different pavilions for the participating countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, the Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Turkey, Britain, the United States of America, Russia, France, Italy, Switzerland, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
The expected total number of participants in the exhibition is 38 from various types of services, businesses or companies.
