The Royal Hashemite Court announces the death of Princess Majda Raad

 The Jordanian Royal Hashemite Court announced today, Friday, the death of Princess Majda Raad, wife of Prince Raad bin Zeid.

The Royal Court said – in a statement today – that the body of the deceased will be buried in the royal shrines, after the afternoon prayer. Today.

The deceased was born in Arboga, Sweden, on September 5, 1942, and received her education in the Kingdom of Sweden.

For about five decades, she has been involved in volunteer and social work to provide basic humanitarian services to refugees and orphans, and she contributed to establishing the Al-Hussein Center for Orphans.

She headed the Al-Hussein Society for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Motor Challenges, which she founded. With the aim of providing a decent life for people with disabilities to enjoy the greatest degree of independence, freedom and self-reliance, providing rehabilitation programs for them in various regions of the Kingdom, and preparing children with disabilities to integrate into society.
