The head of the Evangelical community congratulates Pope Tawadros on the occasion of Christmas

The head of the Evangelical community in Egypt, Dr. Rev. Andre Zaki, today, Friday, visited His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, at the papal headquarters in the St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya, to extend congratulations on Christmas, with the participation of a high-level delegation of leaders and symbols of the sect. Evangelical.

 

Dr. Pastor Andre Zaki expressed – during The visit – expressing his happiness at meeting His Holiness the Pope, saying, “We cherish the visit of Your Holiness, which always carries the meanings of true love.” 

 

He added, “Our relationship reflects our love from the heart, and we affirm Your Holiness represents a great symbol of love between Egyptians and the entire region. You have been able to unite all Egyptians in your love, which reflects your wisdom and vision in promoting unity. Homeland and spreading love among all.

 

For his part, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II welcomed the visit of Dr. Reverend Andre Zaki and his accompanying delegation, praising the close relations between the Coptic Orthodox Church and the Evangelical community.

 

For his part, His Holiness Pope Tawadros said, “We pray that the year 2025 will be A year of fulfillment and blessing, and we are optimistic about the good despite the conflicts the world is witnessing, because we believe that God is the Ruler of All.” 

 

He added, “It is true that evil tries to remove humanity from the hearts of Humans and spreads sin, but we as servants of Christ have a great responsibility to confront this evil with love and awareness, and our meeting today reflects that true love that makes our lives more joyful, because a person without hope is without life. “Christmas is a message of hope and life.”
