Seven people were injured, including three government officials and four security personnel, as a result of an attack today targeting an aid convoy they were traveling in in the Kurram tribal district in northwestern Pakistan.
Local administration official Moatasem Billah said in a press statement that gunmen attacked their convoy in the Kurram area when they were transporting relief materials to those affected by the violence that the region witnessed during recent days.
He continued that security forces rushed to the site of the attack, and the injured were transferred to the nearby hospital, and no party has yet claimed responsibility.
