13 million beneficiaries of health insurance services in the Kingdom

The Health Insurance Council announced that the number of beneficiaries of private health insurance in the Kingdom has reached more than 13 million beneficiaries, which represents a qualitative achievement in the Council’s journey towards enhancing the quality of health services and ensuring their access to a wide segment of citizens and residents in the private sector in the Kingdom. The number of Saudi subscribers reached There are 2 million basic beneficiaries in the mandatory health insurance document and 2.4 million dependent beneficiaries, while the number of non-Saudi subscribers to the mandatory basic health insurance document reached more than 7.2 million beneficiaries. And more than 1.4 million beneficiaries for dependents, bringing the total to 13 million beneficiaries of private health insurance in the Kingdom, which reflects the Council’s commitment to achieving its strategy by working to enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided within the framework of its endeavor to be a leading global regulatory body that focuses on and empowers stakeholders.
