“Al-Ahly Basketball Women” wins over Al-Tayaran in the league championship

The first women’s basketball team at Al-Ahly Club achieved a major victory over the Aviation team, with a score of 111-42, in the match that was held today, Wednesday, as part of the league championship competitions.

The match was held in the Martyrs’ Hall at the club’s headquarters on the island, during which a presentation was made. The team presented a distinguished display, under the leadership of Tariq Khairy, the team’s technical director, and “Al-Ahly Women” succeeded. The match was decided with a score of 111-42.

Al-Ahly is scheduled to face its counterpart Al-Tayaran next Saturday, in the second leg of the preliminary round of the Super League Championship.
