Trump asks the Supreme Court to block the ruling in the “hush money” case

US President-elect Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court to block the ruling in the money case filed against him in New York, known in the media as the “hush money” case.
US President-elect, Donald Trump, appealed two rulings issued by Judge Juan Merchan, regarding the rejection of the judge’s attempts to overturn Trump’s conviction in the “hush money” case.
The president-elect also seeks to stop the implementation of the ruling against him in this case, which Merchan has set for next Friday.
The case relates to Trump’s attempt to buy the silence of pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels about having a sexual relationship with her, a case known in the media as the “hush money” case.
Last Friday, Merchan rejected Trump’s attempt to overturn his conviction because he was elected president, and set the date for Trump’s sentencing in the “hush money” case on Friday, although Merchan made it clear that Trump would not be sentenced to any prison sentence.
