المملكة: Qurayyat and Tabuk recorded the lowest temperature in the Kingdom today, Friday

The National Center of Meteorology revealed today, Friday, that the cities of Qurayyat and Tabuk topped the list of the least hot cities in the Kingdom, as each of them recorded a temperature of 1 degree Celsius.
Turaif and Hail recorded 2 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Rafha reached 3 degrees Celsius, Al-Jawf 4 degrees Celsius, and Arar 5 degrees Celsius.

As for the central regions, such as Riyadh and Dawadmi, it recorded 6 degrees Celsius.
This sharp drop in temperatures comes as part of the effect of the cold wave hitting large areas of the Kingdom.
This requires everyone to take the necessary precautions, especially at night and early morning.

The National Center of Meteorology confirmed that it continues to monitor weather conditions and issue periodic updates to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

The National Center of Meteorology announced the expected weather conditions for today, Friday, in the Kingdom, and expected moderate to heavy thunderstorms that would lead to torrential rains in parts of the Al-Baha and Makkah regions.
Light to moderate rain was also expected in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Riyadh, Medina, Hail, the northern border and Al-Jawf.
He pointed out that rain continues in parts of the Tabuk region, and light snowfall is not ruled out on its highlands (Jabal al-Lawz – Alqan – Al-Dhahr).

Fog formation

In the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, today, Friday, the National Center of Meteorology issued a “red warning” alert for heavy rain, including the governorates of (the Holy Capital, Adham, Al-Laith, Maysan, and Al-Jamoum).
The rain will fall accompanied by high-speed winds, lack of horizontal visibility, hail, torrential rains, and thunderbolts, indicating that the situation will continue until 10 pm today.

Weather conditions in Saudi Arabia until Sunday

The Meteorological Center also revealed the continued impact of weather instability affecting most regions of the Kingdom, and will continue until Sunday.
He explained that forecasts indicate thunderstorms of varying intensity, ranging from light to medium, reaching heavy in some locations.
He stated that these rains will be accompanied by active winds that raise dust and dust, which will lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility, with the possibility of torrential rains in low-lying areas and valleys.
