The General Real Estate Authority warns against manipulation in real estate advertisements

The General Real Estate Authority detected on one of the real estate platforms suspicions of tampering with real estate advertisement data, as a discrepancy was observed in the prices advertised on the same real estate instrument.
The Real Estate Authority confirms that these advertisements have been verified, and accordingly the owner of the instrument and the brokers publishing these advertisements have been summoned to investigate and take the necessary measures.

Electronic platforms

In this context, the Authority notes that any advertisements carrying the same violation are monitored and coordinated with electronic platforms and real estate brokers to verify and take the necessary action against violators.
The Authority also confirms that using licenses with incorrect or misleading data or data that is not related to the advertised property is a violation of the regulations and exposes the license holder to legal accountability, and the necessary measures will be taken against violators.
The Authority calls on everyone to report such cases through its official channels, stressing that it will continue to follow up on published real estate advertisements, and will not be lax in implementing the system to ensure transparency and preserve the rights of all parties.
