Trump’s deportations of immigrants would be “catastrophic”

Pope Francis warned Sunday that the large-scale deportations of irregular migrants promised by US President-elect Donald Trump would be “catastrophic.”
The Supreme Pontiff said during an interview with Italian television, “If this is true, it will be disastrous, because it will make poor, miserable people who have nothing pay the price.”
