To discuss ending the war…expected talks between Ukraine and America in Switzerland

declared head Ukrainian National Security Council Rustam Umarov said on Saturday that Kiev will soon hold talks in Switzerland with the United States to discuss the US President’s plan Donald Trump to end the war with Russia.
Umarov said in a Facebook post "In the coming days, we will launch consultations in Switzerland between senior Ukrainian and American officials on possible parameters for a future peace agreement.".
Umarov added that "Ukraineenters this path with a clear understanding of its interests. It is a new phase of the dialogue that has been ongoing for days, and aims primarily to unify our vision regarding the next steps"
In parallel, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed on Saturday a decree forming a delegation charged with participating. "In the process of negotiation with the United States and other international partners of Ukraine, as well as with representatives of Russia"
Ukraine’s ceding of territory
According to the decree, the delegation will be headed by Zelensky’s chief aide, Chief of the Presidential Staff Andriy Ermak, and its membership will include, in addition to Umarov, the heads of the security and intelligence services, in addition to the Chief of Staff, making it a delegation of a primarily military nature.
Zelensky announced on Friday the rejection of the American plan aimed at ending nearly four years of war with Russia, stressing that He will try to present alternative proposals to Washington.
The text is viewed with concern in Kiev because it adopts a number of basic demands put forward by Moscow, and the plan includes, in particular, Ukraine ceding territory to Russia and reducing the size of its army, in exchange for Kiev receiving Western security guarantees.
For their part, US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin urged Zelensky to accept the proposal.
