28 companies compete for 7 tenders for two new electricity transmission stations in Karzakan and North Riffa

28 companies competed for 7 tenders opened by the Tenders and Auctions Board yesterday, the most prominent of which was for the Electricity and Water Authority to implement a project to build two new electricity transmission stations in Karzakan and North Riffa, and the lowest bid for it was at approximately two million dinars.
“Bapco Exploration and Production” requested a tender for a long-term agreement for devices approved by the Petrel program with triple seismic storage storage, and only one company submitted to it a bid worth 2.5 million dinars, while 6 companies competed for the Bapco Refining Company’s tender for the design, supply and replacement of protection relays. For the 60 Hz power system, the lowest submitted bid was 663 thousand dinars.
Also, only one insurance company submitted to the Institute of Public Administration’s tender, which requested the provision of health insurance service for the Institute’s employees at an amount of 29 thousand dinars.
Four insurance companies competed for the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club tender to provide insurance brokerage services on behalf of the club, but details of the prices of the four tenders were not mentioned.
The Department of Planning and Studies at the Electricity and Water Authority requested in its tender to submit a civil works package to implement the project to build two new 66 kilovolt electricity transmission stations in the Karzakan and North Riffa regions, for which 4 companies competed with bids, the lowest of which was at 1.97 million dinars.
The Central Warehouses Department at the Electricity and Water Authority also asked companies to submit their offers to supply lighting poles, as 7 companies competed for the tender, with bids the lowest of which was worth 66 thousand dinars.
In a tender issued by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, during which companies were announced to submit offers for afforestation and beautification of Street No. 6151 in the Janabiya area in Block 561, five companies submitted to the tender with varying bids, the lowest of which was 135 thousand dinars.
