The start of the competitions of the second edition of the Egypt International Paralympic Badminton Championship
The competitions for the second edition of the Egypt International Paralympic Championship began this Tuesday morning, which will be held in Hall No. 2 and 4 of the Cairo International Stadium in Nasr City during the period from January 21 to 26.
< p>The tournament witnesses the participation of 135 male and female players from 20 countries, namely: “India – Austria – Brazil – South Africa – Côte d’Ivoire – Canada – Kenya – Czech Republic – Nigeria – Congo – Peru – Saudi Arabia – England – Sweden – France – Switzerland – Germany – Turkey – Azerbaijan – in addition to Egypt, the host country, according to what was announced by New Zealander Julie Carrel. The international tournament is one of the strongest tournaments on the agenda of the International Federation, and Egypt was able to gain the confidence of the International Federation officials and was classified as “Grade 2” It is not an easy matter for the competition to rise in the classification despite its modernity and inception, as it was only organized in one edition.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will begin at exactly five in the evening today, and it will be attended by Members of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Federation, heads of participating delegations, and some leaders of the Ministry of Sports and the Egyptian Paralympic Committee.
