The Minister of Local Development receives the President of the United Media Services Company

Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, received today Tariq Nour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Media Services Company. At the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Local Development praised the important role played by the United Company, which has become one of the pillars of Egypt’s soft power industry and the Egyptian media system, praising the great role played by the United Company in highlighting the state’s development efforts in various fields across the governorates of the Republic.

 

Dr. Manal Awad also appreciated the efforts of the United Media Services Company in implementing the media campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Development regarding educating citizens about the importance of the reconciliation law for building violations and the new mechanisms and facilities that the state approved for citizens in this file.

The Minister of Local Development also indicated that the coming period will witness cooperation between the Ministry and the United Company in a number of fields  The ministry’s work programs serve citizens in the governorates, achieve the state’s directions, and implement the directives of the political leadership in a number of different service files.

 

For his part, Tarek Nour congratulated Dr. Manal Awad on her assumption of the position as the first Egyptian woman to hold the position of Minister of Local Development in the history of the ministry, praising the efforts and progress witnessed by the Ministry of Local Development during the past period and the pivotal and important role of the ministry in serving citizens in the governorates.

 

The President of the United Media Services Company expressed the company’s aspiration to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Local Development and the governorates to support the efforts made in serving citizens in various vital and service sectors.
