He pointed out that the meeting constitutes the beginning of a new phase in supporting the population in the Middle East, with the aim of rebuilding the social fabric of the Gaza Strip in the wake of the ceasefire. Fire. 

The statement explained that this comes in the Foreign Minister’s announcement of a new emergency financing package worth 10 million euros during his recent mission to Palestine and Israel.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Universities. And the Italian scientific research Annamaria Bernini, in which university hospitals, the President of the Piedmont Region Alberto Serio, the Mayor of Turin Stefano Lo Russo, and representatives of the Italian Association of Physicians, the Food and Agriculture Organization, the Italian Red Cross and the United Nations World Food Program participate.

In a related context. A number of Italian universities submitted a project proposal aimed at providing support for the needs of mothers and children in the Gaza Strip.

It includes deploying specialized doctors in a number of specialties, including infectious diseases, obstetrics and gynecology, surgeons, And orthopedists, neurologists, psychiatrists, gastroenterologists, nutritionists, and nurses.

It also includes the installation of local information technology systems with the aim of providing continuous links for telemedicine and remote consultation between residents of the Gaza Strip and local operators and supporting care for the needs of the population, In addition to organizing campaigns to collect donations of funds, medicines and medical equipment and sending them to workers in the sector.
