N&B’s first solo concert in Cairo next month

K-Pop boy band NEW AND.B is scheduled to hold a concert at the Greek Campus of the American University in Cairo in Egypt on February 7.
This is the K-Pop group’s first solo concert in Egypt where the Korean culture wave “Hallyu”, including K-Pop and Korean dramas, is very popular.
Especially since this concert takes place two months before the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Egypt, which falls on April 13, which makes it of great importance.

Arabic songs

During the concert, the band will perform their songs such as the Arabic version of “Shh.” She will also perform other K-Pop songs such as “APT.” by Rosé from the girl group Blackpink, and the song “Butter” by the boy group BTS.
N&B, formerly known as BIG, imitated Arabic songs such as “La Bazaf” in 2019.
The band’s name was changed from “B.I.G” to “New & B” in 2023 after the end of its contract with its previous agency, and the band released the album “Shh” in Arabic in August of last year.

Various offers

At a press conference held by the band two weeks before their scheduled concert in Egypt, member and band leader Jae Hoon said that the band performed in Southeast Asia and South America as well, but the audiences in Arab countries were the most encouraging.
Jin-seok, the youngest member, said, “Since we will be meeting the Egyptian fans face-to-face, we have done our best to prepare for the concert. We look forward to receiving a lot of love from the Egyptian fans.”
